Nichrome Hi-Temp Wire

Nichrome hi-temp wire is heat tolerant to 2055°F (Cone 03), suited to fabrication of specialty kiln stilts, kiln repair, and other high-temperature applications.

High heat tolerance – Rated to 2055°F (Cone 03).
Nichrome/Kanthal interchangeable – Nichrome and Kanthal wire are interchangeable; "Kanthal" refers to the brand name used by one manufacturer of Nichrome wire.
24 Gauge – Suited to delicate applications including ornament hangers and dollcraft.

14 Gauge – Suited to stilt pin fabrication.
9 or 11 Gauge – Suited to stilt rod fabrication.
Wire Size Chart: 24 Ga. – 0.511mm (0.0201"); 21 Ga. – 0.723mm (0.0285"); 19 Ga. – 0.912mm (0.0359"); 17 Ga. – 1.150mm (0.0453"); 14 Ga. – 1.628mm (0.0641"); 11 Ga. – 2.305mm (0.0907"); 9 Ga. – 2.906mm (0.1144").
