Tips for Fired Glass:
Premium Gold (10-12%): Contains a higher gold content by weight for an exceptionally bright and shiny finish.
Bright Gold (8%): A classic option that provides a rich, elegant 18-23 karat film when fired at approximately 1166°F.
Bright Platinum (White Gold): Delivers a sophisticated silver-toned finish for a modern, sleek aesthetic.
Metallic Copper: Offers a unique, warm tone perfect for creating antique or textured "patina" effects.
Liquid Glass Gold: Specially formulated for use on kiln-fired glass pieces to provide a brilliant, rich appearance.
Ventilation: Always vent the kiln (propped lid or fan) up to 1000°F to allow organic binders to burn off cleanly.
Safety: Use in a well-ventilated area; wearing a respirator is highly recommended due to hazardous fumes during the firing process. Avoid contact with skin.
