Green Wax Resist
AFTOSA Green Wax Resist Ceramic Glaze Barrier — a green tinted ceramic liquid used to block glazes from specific areas, such as foot rings, and to create layered glaze designs.

Blocks glaze from specific areas – Ideal for foot rings and other spots where glaze should be kept away.

Creates layered glaze designs – Apply under or between glazes or underglazes to create interesting design work and unique effects.

Flexible application – Can be applied via brush or slip-trailer.

Drying time – Allow the wax to dry completely (typically 2 to 8 hours, depending on application thickness) before layering a second glaze.

Easy to work with – Easy to see during application but fires completely clear in the kiln, and cleans up easily with warm, soapy water.

Important: Do not freeze — freezing ruins the wax by making it lumpy and completely ineffective.
