Decal Trouble Spots
Most decal trouble spots come from improper handling of the ware or decal itself. With careful application, you can avoid the most common issues and get a clean, professional result.

Don't fold or crack the decal – Handle decals gently to avoid creases or cracks before application.

Apply face up – Be careful to apply the decal face up; otherwise it will burn away during firing.

Keep surfaces clean – Be sure the surface is clean and the decal is applied properly.

Watch for dirt, water, or overlaps – These will prevent that portion of the decal from adhering to the decorating surface, causing it to burn away during firing.
